"Jackson & Wilson
came highly recommended to us from a Superior Court Judge who is a good
friend of ours. We were pleased with both the high level of
professionalism and the constant concern for our best interest. We were
always kept well informed of the status of our case. We feel highly
confident in referring Jackson & Wilson to others."

through one of the most difficult time of my life. You were all so
gracious about any questions I had. The speed with which you brought my
legal case to a fair and fast conclusion was so appreciated and I am
sure I would not be in the position I am in if you hadn’t resolved it
and got the monetary help for me." Case Results

Three Important Qualities Lawyers Must Have I recently had the opportunity to be a guest speaker at Western State School of Law in Fullerton, California. The school is starting up a new American Association for Justice (AAJ) student chapter and they wanted me to share my insight (and some stories) about what it’s like to be a trial attorney. About 40 law students were kind enough to pretend they were interested in what I had to say and among other things, I emphasized two things I have learned over the past 21 years when it comes to successfully practicing law. First, be yourself when it comes to representing a client during litigation and trial. Juror’s don’t like phonies. Come into court prepared and honestly present your case from your heart and you’ll gain their trust and respect. Second, I told the students that when it comes to practicing law, your reputation is everything. Be professional and always try to take the high road when it comes to resolving issues and problems.
Tonight upon
further reflection, I think there is an important third characteristic
which all lawyers should work hard to achieve... to be discrete at all
times. When it comes to the practice of law, I can’t overemphasize the
importance of confidentiality as to facts, decisions and personal
clients matters. If you violate a confidence, it will come back to bite
you in backside. Search Our Web Site
